How It Works
People write their phone number on a scrap of paper and leave it on the dashboard. It works — and it hands your number to everyone who walks past. caraadhar replaces that with a QR tag that only ever shows what you have chosen to share.
1. How to activate a tag
For the owner — a one-time setup.
Order a tag
Sticker, card, keychain, or metal tag — for your car, bike, or pet, from the Shop.
Register your number
We link your phone number to the tag — over a call, or yourself via /activate-qr.
Verify with OTP
Enter the tag number, an OTP arrives on the registered phone. Verify and fill in the details.
2. What happens when someone scans
For whoever scans it.
Anyone can scan
Point your phone's camera at the QR code — no app to install.
Vehicle details appear
The vehicle's name, model, and emergency info show up — only what the owner has allowed.
Call, WhatsApp, or Emergency
Reach the owner in one tap — their real number is never shown.
Why it is safe to put on your windscreen
Nothing personal is in the QR
The code holds a random web address and nothing else. Every detail lives in the database, behind your privacy settings — change or hide it any time without reprinting.
Your number stays yours
Visitors write to you through the page, or call an emergency contact you choose. You see their message and their number; they never see yours unless you switch it on.
Built for the roadside
Blocked driveway, accident, lost pet, flat tyre in a basement parking. One scan and the right person hears about it.
Change your mind later
Because none of your details live in the code, you can change them whenever you like. Move house, change your number, sell the car — you edit a form, and the same sticker keeps working.
